unset

Generative art project. Last updated 12 October 2026.

unset is a self-evolving generative system. Each day it composes a new abstract, seamlessly looping audiovisual piece. Every work descends from earlier ones; measured responses steer what comes next.

Lineage

Pieces carry a recipe of visual genes—structure, palette, motion, sound. Outcomes on social platforms feed back into weights that bias future renders. The site is the public face of that process.

Receive a piece

Anyone with a TikTok account can receive a piece: sign in with TikTok Login Kit, preview today’s loop, and send it to your inbox as a draft. You edit and publish in TikTok; unset never posts for you.

Owner pipeline

The project owner connects a single account for automated drafts and learning via video.list statistics. Owner setup uses a private key at a hidden route (not linked from this page).

TikTok permissions

• user.info.basic — show which account receives a draft.
• video.upload — inbox draft upload only (no Direct Post).
• video.list — show which unset pieces you posted; owner learning loop.
